Mindful Wandering
Forest bathing and guided walks
to deepen the connection to self and nature.
The practice of being guided through a Mindful Outdoor Experience is an opportunity to slow down, be present, awaken our senses, and deepen our connection to the living earth–and to ourselves. Read on to explore the health benefits of nature immersion, and the origins of being mindful in nature through guided walks.
Reconnect to yourself and nature through guided, mindful walks outdoors. As a guide, I lead small groups into nature, while using a sequence of activities including sensory invitations and exploring the foundations of forest bathing while incorporating calming breaths.
Sharing a passion for the healing properties of nature as a forest bathing guide is what I am meant to do. There are so many, many possibilities for you, too, my friend. You are nature, and you are a lifeforce.
Recently, I collaborated with my local library and offered an informational presentation (to be followed up with an in-person walk).
I attempted to cover as many angles as I could, including the background of the practice, nomenclature, and of course, the many, many benefits.
I hope you find this helpful, inspiring, and in want of talking yourself on a mindful stroll in the woods!
